How do I care for my La Canadienne footwear?Updated 12 days ago
Proper care of your shoes, regardless of the material, is essential to prolong their lifespan. After each use, especially in snowy or rainy weather, clean your shoes promptly to prevent stains from setting in. Our products are not resistant to salt or stains, so immediate cleaning helps avoid damage to the material.
STEP-BY-STEP CARE
1. Cleaning
Remove dust and dirt with a dry or slightly damp brush. Repeat if necessary, then allow your shoes to air dry, away from any direct heat source.
2. Refreshing Suede
For wear marks or scratches, gently rub with an appropriate eraser, then wipe off the residue.
3. Polishing Leather
Wipe off excess dirt with a clean cloth, then gently polish the leather to restore its shine.
4. Storage
Always clean your shoes before storing them for the season. Keep them in a cool, dry place, away from direct heat or sunlight.
Important Note: Avoid direct heat sources, as heat can cook the salt into the material, especially suede or leather, making stains much more difficult to remove.
For best results, we highly recommend using our Care Products Line. It contains everything you need for a quick and easy clean-up.
